Who we are
United States Table Soccer Organization, Inc. (d/b/a USA Foosball) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 82-3910839) dedicated to supporting competitive foosball in the United States. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account information: name, username, email, phone number, mailing address, and a hashed password.
- Membership information: your USA Foosball membership status and renewal date.
- Payment information: handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only store a Stripe customer/subscription identifier so we can recognize your membership.
- Site usage: standard server logs (IP, request time) for security and basic analytics.
How we use it
- To create and maintain your USA Foosball account and membership.
- To send transactional emails (welcome, payment receipts, renewal notices, password resets).
- To communicate with you about USA Foosball events and announcements you opt into.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
Who we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the site:
- Stripe (payment processing) — see Stripe's privacy policy.
- Heroku (web hosting).
- Zoho Mail (transactional email delivery).
Memberships purchased on behalf of someone else
A parent, family member, or friend may purchase a membership for another person, including a child who does not have their own email address. In that case the buyer is responsible for sharing the generated sign-in credentials with the member. By purchasing on behalf of a minor you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
Children
We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13. Accounts for minors should be created by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
Your choices
- You can edit or correct your profile information from your dashboard at any time.
- You can cancel your membership and stop future renewals at any time (see Refund & Cancellation Policy).
- You can request deletion of your account by emailing [email protected]. Note we may retain limited records as required for accounting and legal compliance.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Security
Connections to this site are encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way bcrypt hashes. Card data is never stored on our servers.
